Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026 · Early access template — not final legal copy.
LocalPulse ("we", "us") provides AI tools that help local businesses and content creators grow. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled while LocalPulse is in early access.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and authentication details, handled via our identity provider, Clerk.
- Business and social data you search for: the Google Business Profile listings, and Instagram/TikTok/YouTube handles, you enter for analysis. This is public data you choose to look up, not data we scrape from your private accounts.
- Usage data: basic product analytics (pages viewed, features used) so we can improve LocalPulse.
Why we collect it
To operate your account, run the audits and analyses you request, and improve the product. We do not sell your data.
Third-party processors
We rely on the following services to run LocalPulse. Each processes a subset of the data above on our behalf:
- Clerk — authentication and account management
- Supabase — database and storage
- Vercel — hosting for this website
- Railway — hosting for our application backend
- Google APIs — retrieving public Google Business Profile data
- Apify — retrieving public social media data (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
Where your data is stored
Your account and application data is stored in Supabase's EU (Ireland) region.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@localpulse.ink.
